    USED VEHICLE WARRANTY

    We offer warranties on every car we sell under 10 years old with less than 100,000 miles.

     

     

    For vehicles under 7 years old (Network Q) with less than 70,000 miles we have warranties available for up to 60 months. All mechanical and electrical components are covered with the vehicle value as the claim limit.

     

    Full terms and conditions apply  

     

     

    Vehicles under 10 years old (Non-Network Q)with less than 100,000 miles we have warranties available for up to 12 months with component cover (please see below for list of components covered). These warranties have a £500 individual claim limit up to the invoice value of the vehicle.

     

    In the event of Mechanical or Electrical Breakdown, the costs of repairing or replacing the following specifically listed original specification Components of the Vehicle is covered

     

    ENGINE

     

    The following internal Components of the engine are covered:

     

    Cylinder block , cylinder bores, pistons, piston rings, gudgeon pins, small end bearings, crankshaft, crankshaft main bearings, big end bearings, camshaft and cam followers, camshaft bearings, connecting rods,  cylinder head (excluding cracks), cylinder head gasket, inlet and exhaust valves, valve guides and valve springs, hydraulic lifters, rocker shaft, rockers, push rods, timing gears, timing chains (excluding tensioners), flywheel, oil pump, (Excluding failure due to overheating, carbon build up, and burnt, pitted or sticking valves).

     

    TURBOCHARGER

     

    The complete turbo unit is covered (including the wastegate if it is an integral part of the turbo unit and cannot be bought separately), providing it is of original manufacturers equipment.

     

    TIMING BELT/S

     

    If the timing belt/s has been changed in accordance with the time/mileage requirements specified by the manufacturer it will be covered against mechanical breakdown.

     

    TRANSMISSION

    Ball and roller bearings, bushes, gears and gear clusters, needle bearings, selectors and shafts, synchromesh assemblies and transfer gears.

     

    Automatic

     

    Bearings and bushes, brake bands, clutches, gears, governor (mechanical or hydraulic), oil pump, seals, servos,  shafts, transfer gears, valve block

     

    Continuously variable transmission

     

    Internal clutches, planetary gears, reduction gears, shafts, variable pulleys, thrust link drives, internal seals, bearings and bushes

     

    Differential

     

    Bearings, bushes,  bevel gears,  transfer gears,  crown wheel and pinion assembly,  internal shafts, planetary gear assembly,  spacers and thrust washers, 

    Includes front,  rear and centre differential (Excluding viscous couplings and fluid differentials).

     

    Driveline

     

    Bearings, couplings,  CV joints,  half shaft bearings, open drive shafts,  propshafts,  transfer shafts,  half shafts and universal joints (Excluding viscous couplings and fluid differentials).

     

    CLUTCH

     

    Centre plate, pressure plate,  release bearing (Excluding wear and tear).

    Alternator,  front windscreen washer motor,  front windscreen wiper motor,  ignition coil,  indicator relay,  starter motor (including solenoid – pre-engaged type),  starter solenoid (inertia drive starters), voltage regulator (Excluding wiring, alarm systems, in-car entertainment, aerial masts, car telephones and in-car navigation equipment).

     

    BRAKING SYSTEM

     

    Master cylinder, restrictor valve,  calipers and wheel cylinders (Excluding corroded or seized parts).

     

    SUSPENSION AND STEERING

     

    Coil springs,  idler box, rack and pinion (including power assisted steering), steering box and power steering pump (Excluding gaiters, oil leaks, tracking and balancing).

     

    WHEEL BEARINGS

     

    Front and rear wheel bearings, including stub axles.

     

    WORKING MATERIALS

     

    Where an authorised repair requires the replacement or topping up of oils, anti-freeze or other fluids, or replacement of the oil filter, these will be covered as part of the claim (within the Policy Valid Claim limit).

     

    CASINGS

     

    Consequential damage to casings caused by the failure of a covered Component(s) will constitute part of the total claim
