Walter C Brigg is a family owned business, established in 1946 and currently managed by Richard & Roger Brigg, grandsons of the founder.

A Brief History

After many years of providing general vehicle maintenance, light haulage, taxis and a school minibus to the local community, the company became Vauxhall agents in 1970. Gradually the original Cowling site was extended to include new showrooms, workshops, customer reception, offices, a parts department and larger car parks. During this time Vauxhall's used car brand, Network Q was also added along with Vauxhall Rental, commercial and 4x4 vehicles.

During 2001 the company was awarded an expanded Vauxhall territory and subsequently relocated to it's current location at the Crossings Business Park, Crosshills in early February 2002.

The purpose built dealership provides an extensive range of Vauxhall branded facilities in comfortable, modern surroundings. Our spacious new car showroom includes convenient aftersales and parts reception and customer waiting areas. A state-of-the-art workshop also incorporates Vauxhall Masterfit, for those incidental while-you-wait services such as tyres, batteries, shock absorbers and exhausts, alongside the very-latest electronic MOT testing system. Our Parts and Accessories department offers a wide range of products to both the retail and business customer together with a twice daily van delivery service covering North Yorkshire, West Yorkshire and Lancashire.

We have ample customer parking for up to 80 vehicles alongside an extensive used vehicle area displaying over 70 quality, pre-checked and guaranteed cars, vans and recreational vehicles.

Our support services also include, specialist finance and leasing advice for both private and business customers, Motability, accident repairs, sign writing/vehicle graphics, tow bars and replacement windscreens.
